## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Free play or a knock in the steering linkage
- Bushing bore worn oval or stepped
- Squeaking or graunching as the joint moves
- Bushing turning in its housing instead of the shaft turning in the bushing
- Corrosion or salt packed into the bore

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Bushing 872362 supersedes 853863 and shares the same consolidated numbers, so a job written up against 876146, 876147, 876148 or 876150 may need both
- Sealing kit 872290 also replaces 876150
- Check the shaft or pin the bushing runs on before fitting a new bushing to a worn one
