- Mounted in the oil hole for the camshaft
- Supersedes 984966
- 0.003 kg
- 22 applications across the AQ, TWD, TID, TD and TAD series

## 🔌 Function

Blanks off the camshaft oil drilling so oil is directed along the gallery instead of escaping at the end of the hole.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Low or erratic oil pressure, particularly when hot
- Oil weeping from the end of the camshaft drilling
- Plug found loose, pushed out or missing on strip-down
- Noisy valve gear from oil not reaching the top of the engine

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- A plug that has moved will drop oil pressure without leaving an external leak, so check it before condemning the pump
- Clean the bore thoroughly before fitting a new plug, as any debris left behind will stop it seating
