## 🔧 Product Description

## ⚙️ Key Features

- 0.052 kg
- Listed for 77 applications across five engine series
- Supersedes 968324
- Thread and bore are not published - order by part number

## 🔌 Function

Gives a spigot for a rubber hose to be pushed onto and clamped, joining flexible hose to a rigid threaded port.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Weeping or dripping where the hose sits on the spigot
- Hose blowing off or creeping under pressure
- Barb or spigot corroded, pitted or grooved
- Thread damaged or the nipple cross-threaded into its port
- Nipple partly blocked by scale or debris, restricting flow

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Renew the hose and clamp with the nipple - an old hose that has taken the shape of a worn barb will not seal on a new one
- Check the threaded port for damage before fitting, and use the correct sealing method for that joint
