## ⚙️ Key Features

- 7.5 A rating
- 0.002 kg
- Listed for 24 applications across five ranges
- The lowest of the three fuse ratings listed here

## 🔌 Function

Breaks the circuit if current rises above 7.5 amps, protecting light-duty wiring and the instrument or control it feeds before either is damaged.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- One circuit dead - a gauge, sender or control simply stops - while everything else works
- Element melted or the fuse body darkened inside
- A new fuse blowing at once, which indicates a short rather than a tired fuse
- Fuse or holder discoloured and warm
- Fuse loose in the holder, giving an intermittent fault

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- Never substitute a higher rating - this circuit is wired for 7.5 A and the loom becomes the fuse if you do
- Trace the short or overload before fitting another; repeated blowing is a symptom
- Check the holder clips grip firmly, as a slack clip runs hot
