## ⚙️ Key Features

- Elbow form, not a straight nipple
- 0.166 kg
- 20 applications on D series engines and IPS installations
- Straight equivalents are 994328 and 994509
- Quantity varies by assembly, most commonly one

## 🔌 Function

Provides a threaded connection that turns the line through an angle where a straight run will not fit.

## ⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

- Weeping or a wet film at either threaded joint
- Thread damaged, cross-started or stripped on removal
- Sealing face nicked, scored or pulled out of flat
- Corrosion or scale narrowing the bore through the bend
- Fitting turning in its port instead of nipping up

## 🛠️ Service Notes

- The angled body is the distinguishing feature - 994328 at 0.125 kg and 994509 at 0.075 kg are the straight nipples in this group and will not route the line the same way
- Renew the sealing washer or dress the seat when the fitting comes out; a sound nipple on a damaged seat still weeps
