# LEDCONV-H7-CANBUS-PR-KIT H7 Projector LED Bulbs With Extra Canbus Module (Pair) | Genuine STEDI Product

## 🔧 Product Description

**H7 Projector LED Bulbs With Extra Canbus Module (Pair) - Part Number: LEDCONV-H7-CANBUS-PR-KIT**

The optical design of a reflector headlamp is very different from that of a projector-based headlight. Designing an LED headlight conversion which is useful on both platforms is a balancing act full of compromises. Enter the STEDI projector-specific LED upgrade, "Project".

Let's talk about performance. STEDI's back-to-back tests on projector headlamps have yielded an average increase of 300% in peak intensity. Add to this the overall beam has incredible width, endless light volume, and is incredibly smooth, free of any dominant shadows or hotspots.

Vehicles like the Holden Commodore have incredibly small headlight dust-caps which present cooling and fit challenges. The integrated active cooling has been optimised to fit inside the tightest H7 headlight application.

**KEY BEAM CHARACTERISTICS**

- CCT 5700K means colours sync with STEDI auxiliary LED driving lights.
- OEM matching light distribution through the exact positioning of the LED emitters to match the optical properties of the projector headlight.
- One of the critical advantages of projector-based headlamps is that the optical module is fitted with an internal cut-off shield, which keeps oncoming cars from being blinded by stray light scatter. This allows a brighter light source to be leveraged without fear of poor light distribution.
- Instant full beam without any warm-up time.
- Electrically protected against Radio Frequency Interference and Electromagnetic Interference. STEDI guarantees the upgrade will not cause static radio noise.
- Over and Under Voltage Protection

**INSTALLATION**

Matching plug and play connectors to suit the vehicle OE H7 connector. The H7 Canbus Error Cancellation Module (included in this kit) is recommended for later model cars.

**How do I determine whether I need the CANBUS cancellation module?**

If your vehicle warns you of any bulb failures, that is one way of determining whether your vehicle has a CANBUS system.

**What does the CANBUS Cancellation Module do, and why might I need one?**

Modern vehicles have several Electronic Control Units which monitor the many sub-systems in today's cars. Things like Tyre Pressure Monitoring, Door Locks etc are all controlled via the CANBUS system. Vehicles fitted with a CANBUS lighting system monitor that all bulbs in the vehicle are functioning. When the factory bulbs are replaced with LED systems, the CANBUS will detect a variance in the expected current and believe there is a fault or a bulb out, which will either trigger a dash error or no power being delivered to the headlights until the fault is rectified. The CANBUS cancellation module tricks the computer into thinking all is well within the system.
