3803716-injection-pump-genuine-volvo-penta
3803716 Injection Pump | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta remanufactured injection pump for electric speed control, in the standard (Std) setting, weighing 25.2 kg and listed for three applications across the TWD, TD and TAD series. It supersedes injection pump 865559. Electric speed control is the deciding detail here - it is the only pump in this range carrying that note apart from the electronic pump 3803752 - so confirm how the engine's speed is controlled before ordering. This unit is supplied on an exchange basis: core deposit 3806716 is charged alongside it and refunded once the old unit is returned, so both numbers appear on the order.

🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

 Volvo Penta TWD610G

 Volvo Penta TD610G

 Volvo Penta TAD730G

 Engine Family:

 TWD, TD, TAD

⚙️ Key Features

 For electric speed control

 Standard (Std) setting

 25.2 kg

Three applications across the TWD, TD and TAD series

 Supersedes injection pump 865559

🔌 Function

Raises fuel to injection pressure and meters the right quantity to each cylinder in firing order, with the fuelling commanded electrically rather than by a purely mechanical linkage.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

Hard starting, or long cranking before it fires

Engine speed not following the throttle command

Speed hunting or surging, or the engine dropping to a fixed idle

Black smoke and uneven running under load

Diesel weeping from the pump body or the drive-end seal

🛠️ Service Notes

Confirm the engine uses electric speed control and the standard setting before ordering

Prove the speed-control wiring and the actuator feed before condemning the pump

Have the pump timed and its fuel settings checked on fitting

Core deposit 3806716 is charged with this unit and refunded when the old one is returned - order both together

🔄 Supersession & Cross Reference

OEM Supersession Chain

 3803716 → Supersedes 865559

OEM / Related Numbers

865559 earlier number superseded by this part

📦 Condition

 Genuine Volvo Penta part

 Brand new

Supplied in original or equivalent packaging

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0994/8115/7924/files/original_ee5e4a1f-5fe6-4da3-a760-0cc6fd3ac4d0.jpg?v=1777119866
