88800842-plug-kit-genuine-volvo-penta
88800842 Plug Kit | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta plug kit, part number 88800842, from the Special Tools group. It sits in the eight-figure 888 number series that Volvo uses for workshop tooling rather than for engine components, so this is service equipment and not a part that goes into a running engine. No contents list, no sizes and no procedure are published against the number, and Volvo Penta's own listing shows the name alone. A plug kit of this kind supplies a set of plugs or caps for blanking openings while a system is opened up or tested. Confirm the procedure and the tool number called for in your workshop instructions before ordering.

⚙️ Key Features

Plug kit in the Special Tools group

Part of the 888 workshop tool number series rather than an engine component

No published contents, sizes or procedure

Ordered against the tool number quoted in the workshop instructions

🔌 Function

Provides a set of plugs for blanking openings in a system while it is opened, tested or transported.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

Weeping or seepage from a plugged drilling or port

A plug that will not seal however carefully it is fitted

Damaged or corroded plug seats found when the casting is stripped

🛠️ Service Notes

This is workshop equipment - check the tool number quoted in the procedure you are following before ordering

Break out cable 88890368 is the other special tool listed in this run

📦 Condition

 Genuine Volvo Penta part

 Brand new

Supplied in original or equivalent packaging

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0994/8115/7924/files/original_131746a2-386a-4763-97b5-005019646f49.jpg?v=1788104514
