Shackles, Leaf Pins & U-Bolts

Shackles, pins and U-bolts hold a leaf spring pack to the chassis and axle, and factory parts wear quickly in dusty, wet and corrugated conditions. PSR's greasable shackles and greasable leaf pins can be lubricated through a grease nipple, which pushes out grit and water and stops the squeaks that dry bushes make. This page also holds PSR extended shackles for a 2" lift and U-bolt sets of four in square top and round top styles.

Greasable shackle pairs are listed for the Toyota Hilux N70, N80 and N90, Nissan Navara D22, D40 and NP300, Mitsubishi Triton MQ, MR and MV, Ford Ranger PX and Next Gen with the Mazda BT-50 and Volkswagen Amarok NF, and the Holden Rodeo and Jackaroo, while extended shackles suit the Colorado, D-Max and Navara D40.

U-bolts are sized by thread, inside width and leg length (for example M14 x 66 x 200), so measure your existing U-bolts or check them against your spring pack and axle before you buy, and fit new U-bolts after a spring change rather than reusing the old ones.
