Genuine Faria Chesapeake White SS Voltmeter - Catalogue Number: 13805
A genuine Faria Beede 2-inch voltmeter originally fitted to a Mustang boat dashboard.
The instrument measures system voltage from 10 to 16 VDC and provides a quick indication of battery condition and alternator or charging-system output. Unlike sender-operated gauges, the voltmeter connects directly to switched positive and ground.

🔌 Function
The voltmeter measures voltage at the dashboard and shows whether the battery is discharged, normally charged or receiving charging-system output.
Common signs of failure:
• Gauge remains at zero with the ignition on
• Reading is consistently lower than battery voltage
• Needle fluctuates because of a poor ground
• Gauge wiring has excessive voltage drop
• Backlight fails
• Lens fogs or electrical terminals corrode
