Seals the filler point and holds the cooling system at its designed pressure, which raises the coolant's boiling point, while its valve lets the system breathe as it heats and cools.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Coolant pushed out into the expansion tank or overboard after a hard run
• Boiling or steam at a temperature the engine used to handle
• Top hose collapsing as the engine cools, showing the vacuum valve is stuck
• Coolant loss with no visible external leak
• Seal found hardened, split or displaced, or the sealing seat corroded
