🔧 Product Description
Genuine Volvo Penta coolant pipe from the Cooling System group, weighing 1.549 kg and seen on seven TWD series applications. It supersedes part number 22318606.
⚙️ Key Features
- 1.549 kg
- Supersedes 22318606
- Seven TWD series applications
- Cooling System group
🔌 Function
Carries coolant between two fixed points in the cooling circuit, holding its route where a hose would sag, chafe or collapse.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Weeping or crusted residue at a union or hose spigot
- Corrosion pitting breaking through to a pinhole
- Coolant loss that only shows once the system is hot and pressurised
- Bore silted or scaled so the circuit runs warm
- Sealing faces scored so a new seal will not hold
🛠️ Service Notes
- Check the bore for scale before refitting, and flush the circuit if the old pipe was heavily silted
- An engine listed against 22318606 takes this pipe instead
