Genuine Quicksilver Lower-Unit Quad Ring - Part Number: 25-822236

A genuine Quicksilver square-section quad ring used in selected Mercury and Mariner small-outboard water-pump and gear-housing assemblies.

Unlike a conventional round O-ring, the quad-ring profile provides multiple sealing lips around the driveshaft or pump-base location. It is included in several Mercury water-pump, seal and lower-unit gasket kits.

🔌 Function

The quad ring seals the driveshaft or pump-base passage within the lower unit. Its multi-lip profile helps prevent water bypass and protects the gear-housing cavity from contamination.
