⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Fuel weeping where the line enters the fitting
• Sleeve split, distorted or corroded
• Pipe chafed or nicked at the sleeve position
• Air drawn into the fuel system, giving hunting or hard starting
• Joint will not seal however hard the nut is tightened

🛠️ Service Notes

• Renew the sleeve and nut together when a fuel line joint is remade, as the sleeve deforms onto the pipe in service
• Check the pipe end for nicks and ovality before fitting, and bleed the fuel system afterwards
