Mackay Cast-Iron Hydraulic Disc Caliper Pair for AL-KO/Meher Systems - Part Number: H3010

A cast-iron floating hydraulic trailer disc-brake caliper for AL-KO and Meher-style hydraulic brake axles. The floating caliper applies hydraulic pressure through its piston to clamp the brake pads against the standard compatible rotor system.

⚙️ Key Features

• Cast-Iron Floating Hydraulic construction

• Designed for standard compatible rotor system

• Floating/sliding caliper operation

• Marine trailer hydraulic brake application

• Serviceable pads and hydraulic components

📏 Specifications

• Rotor compatibility: standard compatible rotor system

• Caliper family: AL-KO and Meher-style hydraulic brake axles

• Brake-fluid connection and mounting-hole spacing must match

• Supply quantity: Confirm title/package; H3010 is supplied as a pair

🔄 Cross Reference & Related Parts

• Mackay: H3010

• Dunbier: 1956

• Brake pads, slide pins, seals and mounts must match the exact caliper family

• AL-KO/Meher, Trojan and DeeMaxx calipers are not interchangeable merely because the rotor diameter is similar

🚤 Trailer Compatibility & Application

• Suitable for AL-KO and Meher-style hydraulic brake axles

• Use only with the correct rotor thickness, caliper bracket and hydraulic pressure system

• Pad friction material and backing plate must match the caliper

🔌 Function

Converts hydraulic fluid pressure into pad clamping force to slow the rotating trailer brake disc.

Common signs of wear or replacement:

• Brake fluid leaks past the piston seal

• Piston or slide pins seize

• Pads wear unevenly

• Caliper body is cracked or heavily corroded

• Trailer pulls to one side or a wheel runs hot

• Brake does not release after pedal application

🛠️ Installation & Safety

• Brake work should be completed by a competent trailer technician

• Use the correct caliper mount and high-tensile fasteners

• Fit new sealing washers where required

• Bleed all air from the hydraulic circuit

• Confirm free sliding movement and rotor clearance

• Road-test progressively and recheck for leaks

📦 Condition

• Brand new Mackay trailer component

• Supplied as one caliper or pair as identified in the product title

• Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
