A rope and chain guide for a Stressfree Marine anchor winch installation, fitted in front of the hatch opening.

In Stressfree’s own words, an anchor roller gives a stress-free way to drop and weigh the anchor, reducing friction and stopping scuffing on the boat as the rope and chain tracks down from the bow sprit to spool on and off each side of the drum.

Stressfree list the 4" roller as the one that suits most situations, and the 6" roller for boats where the distance between the hatch opening and the edge of the Stressfree drum is less than 200mm / 8 inches.
