002971 Backing Plate
An aluminium backing plate for a Stressfree Marine anchor winch installation.
It goes under the deck, beneath the winch base, so the load from the winch and the anchor line is carried across a wide area of the deck instead of being concentrated at the mounting bolts.
Stressfree Marine build their anchor winches at Lonsdale in South Australia from 316L grade marine stainless steel, from the 300 watt Mini Me for boats to 5.5m up to the 1700 watt Mighty for boats to 12m. Their accessories are made to suit those installations.
