A genuine BRP moulded thermostat seal for selected 3.0-litre and 3.3-litre FICHT and Evinrude E-TEC V6 outboards.
The seal fits between the thermostat and cylinder-head cooling passage. It locates the thermostat correctly and prevents cooling water from bypassing around its outside diameter.

The seal holds the thermostat in its cylinder-head recess and forces cooling water to pass through the thermostat rather than around it.
