• Gale-branded 60HP-90HP V4 outboards using the same 3/4-inch flat pin-drive shaft
• HP Range: 60HP - 90HP
• Engine Type: Early OMC / Evinrude / Johnson / Gale V4 two-stroke outboard with pin-drive gearcase
• Year Range: Approximately 1958 - 1968
🔌 Function
The propeller converts engine torque into thrust through the shaft drive pin. The 11-inch pitch provides a mid-range load and speed option for the compatible early V4 gearcase.
Common signs of failure:
• Blades are bent, chipped, cracked or out of track
• The rubber hub slips and engine RPM rises without matching boat speed
• Propeller vibration increases with engine speed
• Cavitation, ventilation or poor acceleration develops after impact damage
• Hub splines, drive-pin surfaces or thrust faces are worn or corroded
📦 Condition
• Genuine used part
• Removed from running engine where applicable
• In good working condition unless otherwise stated
