🔌 Function
The amplifier controls the ignition signal in battery-CD ignition systems, switching the ignition coil circuit so spark is generated at the correct timing point.
Common signs of failure:
• No spark
• Intermittent spark loss
• Engine starts then dies
• Weak spark after coil and wiring checks
• Misfire across affected cylinders
• Ignition output fault isolated to amplifier
• Heat-related shutdown or internal module failure
📦 Condition
• Genuine used part
• Removed from running engine where applicable
• In good working condition unless otherwise stated
