🔧 Product Description

Genuine BRP Evinrude Johnson Throttle Cam Roller and Sleeve Assembly - Part Number: 0432639

A genuine BRP throttle-linkage roller and sleeve assembly for selected Evinrude and Johnson outboards.

The roller follows the profiled throttle cam and transfers cam movement to the carburettor or throttle linkage. Its sleeve allows the roller to turn freely while maintaining the correct effective diameter for link-and-synchronisation settings.

⚙️ Key Features

• Genuine BRP OEM roller-and-sleeve assembly

• Correct OEM part number 0432639

• Replaces earlier service reference 0765547

• Used as a throttle-cam follower

• Helps coordinate throttle opening with ignition advance

• Broad application across carburetted and selected injected engines

🔄 Supersession & Cross Reference

OEM Supersession Chain:

• 0765547

• 765547

• 0432639

• 432639

OEM / Related Numbers:

• 0324678 - Related O-ring on applicable linkages

• 0128110 - Related roller sleeve used in other assemblies

• 0397499 - Different roller-and-sleeve assembly; not an automatic substitute

• 5001116 - Different later roller-and-sleeve assembly

Aftermarket / Verified Equivalents:

• No verified direct Sierra, GLM, Mallory or Recmar complete equivalent

• Generic throttle-cam rollers may be available but must be dimensionally matched

• Genuine BRP is recommended where accurate cam-follower diameter is required

🚤 Compatibility

Commonly used on selected:

• Evinrude and Johnson outboards from approximately 30HP-250HP

• Two-stroke carburetted engines

• Optical-ignition-system throttle linkages

• Selected engines from approximately 1994 onward

Important fitment note:

• Confirm 0432639 in the throttle-linkage diagram.

• Roller diameter directly affects throttle pickup and ignition synchronisation.

• Do not replace it with a smaller bare sleeve or an unrelated roller.

🔌 Function

The roller rides against the throttle cam as the control lever is advanced.

Common signs of wear or damage:

• Flat spot worn into the roller

• Sleeve splits or falls away

• Excessive side play

• Throttle plates begin opening too early or too late

• Engine hesitates during acceleration

• Link-and-sync settings cannot be maintained

• Roller binds instead of turning

Installation considerations:

• Inspect the throttle cam for grooves

• Replace damaged retainers and O-rings

• Confirm the roller turns freely

• Perform the complete link-and-synchronisation adjustment

• Verify throttle plates reach full opening without binding

• Check idle and maximum ignition timing

📦 Condition

• Genuine BRP Evinrude Johnson OEM part

• Brand new

• Supplied in genuine or equivalent protective packaging
