Genuine BRP Evinrude Johnson 60-Degree Engine Carburettor Float Chamber - Part Number: 0433000


A genuine BRP carburettor float chamber, also called a float bowl, for selected 60-degree Evinrude and Johnson two-stroke outboards.


The chamber bolts to the lower section of the carburettor and stores the controlled quantity of fuel maintained by the float, inlet needle and seat.

🔌 Function


The chamber holds a reserve of fuel at a controlled level beneath the carburettor venturi.


Common signs of failure:


• Bowl is warped

• Fuel leaks at the gasket

• Drain-plug threads are stripped

• Bowl is cracked

• Main jet threads are damaged

• Internal fuel contamination

• Engine floods or runs lean due to incorrect fuel level


Installation considerations:


• Install a new bowl gasket

• Inspect the float and inlet needle

• Clean the jets and passages

• Confirm jet sizes before transfer

• Set the float height

• Tighten screws evenly to avoid warping

• Perform a fuel-leak test
