🔧 Product Description

Genuine BRP Evinrude Johnson Vapour Pump Assembly - Part Number: 0433352

A genuine BRP vapour-pump assembly for selected 90HP-175HP Evinrude and Johnson two-stroke outboards.

The pump forms part of the engine's fuel and vapour-separator system. It helps circulate fuel and vapour through the fuel-supply assembly so the carburettors receive a stable liquid-fuel supply and vapour lock is reduced.

• Replaces earlier reference 0769296

• Used in selected V4 and V6 fuel-system assemblies

• Designed for marine petrol and oil-mix environments

• Original BRP hose-port and mounting configuration

🔌 Function

The vapour pump helps move fuel and vapour through the vapour-separator or recirculation system.

Common signs of failure:

• Engine loses fuel supply at higher rpm

• Hot restart is difficult

• Fuel vapour accumulates in the system

• Engine surges under load

• Pump diaphragm leaks

• Fuel is visible in the pulse line

• Hose connections leak air or fuel

• Pump does not respond to crankcase pulses

Installation considerations:

• Replace hardened hoses and clamps

• Confirm pulse-line integrity

• Inspect the vapour separator and float valve

• Check the primary fuel pump and primer bulb

• Flush storage contamination before installation

• Perform fuel-pressure and vacuum tests

• Check carefully for fuel leakage before running
