🔌 Function

The lever pivots when the remote-control linkage moves and transfers that motion to the vertical shift shaft. Correct lever travel is required for positive forward, neutral and reverse engagement.

Common signs of failure:

• Excessive shift-handle free play

• Forward or reverse will not fully engage

• Lever bore or pin is worn

• Shift shaft binds or moves unevenly

• Engine jumps out of gear because the linkage travel is incomplete

📦 Condition

• Genuine used part

• Removed from running engine where applicable

• In good working condition unless otherwise stated

• Inspect pivot wear and shaft engagement before installation
