🔧 Product Description
Genuine BRP / OMC Port Intake Manifold and Reed Assembly - Part Numbers: 0436893 / 0389823
A genuine port-side intake manifold fitted with reed-valve assemblies for selected Johnson and Evinrude 60-degree V4 two-stroke outboards.
The manifold distributes the carburetted air-and-fuel mixture to the port cylinder bank. The reed valves open as crankcase pressure falls and close as pressure rises, preventing mixture from flowing back through the carburettors.

🔌 Function
The manifold directs the fuel-and-air mixture from the port carburettor bank into the crankcase passages. The reeds act as one-way valves, allowing mixture into the crankcase while preventing reverse flow.
Common signs of failure:
• Reed petals are chipped, cracked or no longer seal flat
• Engine spits fuel back through the carburettor
• Poor idle, difficult starting or reduced low-speed torque
• Intake manifold is cracked or has damaged sealing faces
• One cylinder bank runs lean because of an intake leak
📦 Condition
• Genuine used part
• Removed from running engine where applicable
• In good working condition unless otherwise stated
