🔌 Function
The stator produces ignition charge voltage and charging output beneath the flywheel. It works with the timer base, power pack, regulator / rectifier and ignition coils to maintain spark and battery charging.
Common signs of failure:
• Weak or missing spark
• Engine stuck in S.L.O.W. mode due to ignition-side faults
• Hard starting or poor cold start behaviour
• Battery not charging
• Misfire under throttle
• Engine cuts out after warm-up
