Genuine BRP Johnson / Evinrude Power-Trim Relay and Cable Assembly - Current Part Number: 0586228

A genuine OMC / BRP trim-relay and wiring assembly for selected late-1990s and early-2000s V4 and V6 outboards. Current service number 0586228 replaces earlier harness 0586226. It carries the high-current up and down relay circuits between the engine harness and trim motor.

🔌 Function

The relay assembly reverses polarity to the two-wire trim motor, allowing the hydraulic pump to run in the up or down direction.
