Genuine Johnson / Evinrude Optical Ignition Sensor - Part Number: 0586343

A genuine used Optical Ignition System sensor for selected Johnson and Evinrude 60-degree V4 and V6 two-stroke outboards.

The optical sensor reads slots in the timing encoder wheel and sends crank-position, cylinder-identification and ignition-timing information to the power pack.

🔌 Function

The sensor determines crankshaft position and cylinder timing by reading the optical encoder wheel, allowing the power pack to trigger the ignition coils at the correct time.
