Genuine BRP Evinrude Power Trim Sending Unit Assembly - Part Number: 0587146

A genuine BRP trim-position sending unit for selected Evinrude E-TEC outboards.

The sender mounts to the swivel-bracket area and measures the outboard's trim angle. Its electrical signal is used by the trim gauge, engine display or engine-management network to indicate the position of the outboard. Part number 0587146 supersedes earlier sender references 0586784 and 0769495.

🔌 Function

The sender varies its electrical output as the engine rotates through the trim range. This signal allows the helm gauge or electronic display to show the outboard's approximate trim position.
