A genuine Volvo Penta tensioning band used to secure selected plastic coolant expansion tanks to their mounting brackets. Two bands are commonly used around tank 11033385 in the TAMD / TMD 102-series cooling system. This listing is for one tensioning band only. Expansion tank, pressure cap, rubber collar, brackets, pins and the second band are separate unless specifically supplied.

🔌 Function

The tensioning band clamps a cooling system hose or duct onto its connection point, applying even circumferential pressure to hold the joint sealed. Correct clamping tension prevents coolant leakage and keeps the hose from creeping off under pressure and vibration.
