Easy Fit Battery Switch 275A - Part Number: 113547
A BEP Easy Fit battery switch, rated at 275 amps.
A battery switch is the isolator between the battery and everything downstream of it. Turned off it makes the boat safe to work on, stops a slow parasitic drain flattening the battery over a month on the mooring, and gives a fire or a chafed cable somewhere to be stopped.
The Easy Fit name is BEP’s for the mounting: it is designed to go in without a rebuild of the panel around it. Check your existing cut-out and stud size before ordering, as the range has changed over the years.
