A distribution bus of this size sits between the batteries and the boat’s main switching — the point where a single heavy positive or negative run is broken out to the starter circuit, the winch, the house panel and the charger, each on its own lug.
The 10mm studs suit the larger cable lugs used on those high-current runs. Check the stud size your lugs are drilled for before ordering.
