🔌 Function

The hand lever is the part the operator grips to move the control unit through its throttle and shift positions, transmitting that movement to the engine and transmission via the control cables. It provides the mechanical leverage and detent feel that lets the helmsman set engine speed and select forward, neutral or reverse.
