🔌 Function

The oil filler pipe channels new engine oil from the filler opening into the sump or oil galleries during servicing. It also forms part of the sealed boundary of the lubrication system, keeping contaminants out and preventing oil loss.

• Run the engine afterwards and check the joint at the block or cover for weeping once it is warm
