🔌 Function

Seals and rust-proofs pipe joints, flanges and threaded connections, and keeps high-temperature fasteners from seizing so they can be parted again at the next service.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Exhaust leaking at a flange or threaded joint
• Fasteners seized or galling at a joint that was assembled dry
• Sooty black staining tracking out of a pipe joint
• Product in the tin skinned over, thickened or dried out
• Repeat leakage after reassembly, pointing at a contaminated joint face

🛠️ Service Notes

• Clean both faces and the threads before assembly - the paste seals a clean joint, not a scaled one
• Keep it off oxygen sensors and other exhaust-mounted sensors
