🔧 Product Description

This is a genuine Volvo Penta distributor arm (rotor) from the Ignition and Control Systems group, fitted inside the distributor cap of AQ171 series marine petrol engines. It transfers the high-tension spark from the coil lead to each spark plug terminal in the correct firing order as the distributor shaft turns. It is the current replacement for the earlier rotor part number 855874.

The distributor arm rotates with the distributor shaft and distributes high-voltage current from the ignition coil to each spark plug terminal in the distributor cap. Correct condition of this component is essential for a strong, correctly timed spark at every cylinder.
