Dunbier Compact Ford-Pattern LM Wheel Hub Complete – 140mm Flange – Part Number: 1652
A galvanised trailer wheel hub using the Ford five-stud, 5 × 1/2-inch UNF, approximately 114mm PCD wheel pattern and the specified tapered-roller bearing family. It provides the wheel-mounting flange and rotates on the axle stub through the inner and outer bearings.

🚤 Trailer Compatibility & Application
- Wheel, tyre, axle journal and bearing family must all match
- Ford and Holden HT five-stud hubs are not interchangeable despite both using five studs
- LM and Slimline hubs use different journal diameters and must not be selected by wheel pattern alone
🔌 Function
Carries the road wheel and rotates on the axle bearings while transferring trailer load into the axle stub.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Bearing seats or cups are loose in the hub
- Stud holes or wheel studs are damaged
- Hub flange is cracked or distorted
- Bearing grease contains water or metal
- Hub repeatedly runs hot after correct bearing adjustment
🛠️ Installation & Safety
- Confirm PCD, stud thread and bearing numbers before installation
- Pack bearings with marine wheel-bearing grease
- Install a new rear seal and dust cap where required
- Adjust bearing end float and fit a new split pin
- Torque wheel nuts progressively in a star pattern and recheck after initial travel
