Genuine Suzuki Idle Air Control Valve - Part Number: 18137-88L02

A genuine Suzuki IAC valve for DF40A, DF50A, DF50AV, DF60A and DF60AV EFI four-stroke outboards.

The valve controls a bypass-air passage around the closed throttle plate. The engine control module varies the valve opening to maintain a stable idle during cold starting, gear engagement, electrical loading and deceleration.

🔌 Function

The IAC valve meters air around the throttle butterfly when the throttle is closed. This allows the ECM to compensate for engine temperature and load without requiring the throttle plate to remain open.
