🔧 Product Description

This genuine Volvo Penta nipple is a machined fluid-line fitting designed to match the specified thread, bore and connection geometry used in the low-pressure fuel hose and injection-system connection. It is manufactured to the original Volvo Penta dimensional, material and interface requirements so the serviced assembly retains its designed alignment, sealing, load capacity and operating reliability. In service, it provides the specified hose-to-fuel-system connection while preserving flow and leak-free sealing. Selection must be confirmed by OEM part number 190132, the exact engine or product model, serial number and installed configuration.

⚙️ Key Features

  • OEM part number 190132
  • Confirm thread form and line size, keep passages clean, renew sealing washers or thread seals and support connected pipes without preload.
  • 2 used per assembly

🔌 Function

Provides the specified hose-to-fuel-system connection while preserving flow and leak-free sealing. Confirm thread form and line size, keep passages clean, renew sealing washers or thread seals and support connected pipes without preload.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Visible fuel, oil, coolant or hydraulic-fluid seepage
  • Air entering the circuit or loss of prime
  • Cracked body, damaged threads or distorted sealing faces
  • Restricted flow from corrosion, contamination or an incorrect fitting
  • Pipe stress, vibration fretting or repeated loosening at the connection

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Check the bore is clear before fitting — a nipple is often the feed point or restriction for a circuit, and debris left in it will starve whatever it supplies
  • On tapered threads use the paste or liquid sealant specified for the fluid concerned, applied a few threads back from the open end; avoid thread tape on fuel and oil lines, where a shed shred travels downstream into filters, pumps and injectors
  • Where the nipple seals on a face or against a washer rather than on its thread, fit a new sealing washer instead of curing a weep by overtightening
  • Tighten to the figure in the workshop manual for your engine — these are small fittings in castings and are easily stripped, or the surrounding boss cracked
  • Support the pipe or hose so it meets the nipple square and without side load, then check the joint at working pressure and temperature
