Genuine Volvo Penta formed coolant pipe used in the TD520GE radiator cooling package. It is installed beside coolant pipe 20412291 and the fan-shroud hose arrangement.

🔌 Function

Transfers coolant through the radiator package while maintaining the required routing and clearance.

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Clean both flanges or spigots and check the sealing lands for pitting and corrosion; renew every O-ring, seal or gasket at the joint rather than reusing one that has taken a set
  • Lubricate coolant-side O-rings with coolant or a rubber-safe lubricant — petroleum oil and grease swell and soften the rubber and end up in the coolant
  • Offer the pipe up and align both ends before pulling any fastener tight, so the joints are not held together by strain from a misaligned pipe or an over-stretched hose
  • Check the bore is clear of scale, sealant and debris before fitting, and inspect the pipe for internal corrosion or thinning if the old one was leaking
  • Refill with the coolant type and mix specified for your engine, bleed the system through, then check the joints again with the engine hot and up to pressure
