• Engine Family: TD

⚙️ Key Features

• Reduces vibration and fatigue in the long pipe/hose run
• Must remain in the original location and orientation
• Engine type: Volvo Penta 5-litre industrial diesel

🔌 Function

Damps resonance and limits vibration movement in the coolant-pipe assembly.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Coolant pipe vibration
• Repeated pipe or bracket fatigue
• Loose or missing balance weight
• Rattling near the fan shroud
• Hose connection movement

🛠️ Service Notes

• If the coolant pipe assembly is renewed, transfer this balance weight to the new pipe in the same position, or fit a new one if it is missing or damaged, since an unweighted pipe will resume vibrating
• Check that the weight's fixing is fully tight before returning the engine to service, since a loose weight cannot damp vibration
