🔌 Function

Connects the oil separator to the crankcase breather hose while containing oil mist and vapour.

🛠️ Service Notes

• Check the connection and the hose bore are clean and undamaged, and push the hose fully onto the spigot past the bead before clamping
• Position the clamp on the parallel part of the spigot behind the bead, and tighten it enough to seal without cutting into the hose
• Renew the O-ring, gasket or sealing washer where the connection screws or bolts into a housing, and check the thread and the seat are clean and dry
• Support the pipework so the joint is not carrying the load or the pull of the hose — a connection loaded sideways will weep
• Fill, vent and pressurise the system, then check the joint cold and again at operating temperature, retightening the clamp if it has taken up
