🛠️ Service Notes
- Handle the fan carefully and never fit one that is cracked, chipped or distorted — an out-of-balance fan wrecks the pulley bearing and can break up in service
- Check the hub, pulley and drive belt while the fan is off, and make sure the fan turns true with no wobble once fitted
- Fit the fan the correct way round so it moves air in the original direction, and tighten the fasteners evenly to the figures in the workshop manual for your engine
- Confirm the blade tips clear the shroud, hoses and wiring all the way round before starting the engine
