Houses the oil-pressure regulating valve and routes pressurised oil through the engine lubrication circuit.

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Note how the housing sits and how its connections run before removal, and keep any shims, springs and internal parts in order for reassembly
  • Clean the mating faces and ports without letting debris into the passages — wipe or blow out rather than scraping into the bore
  • Renew all gaskets, O-rings and sealing washers at the joints, lightly lubricated so they seat without nipping
  • Check that any spool, plunger or valve moves freely through its full travel by hand before the housing is closed up and fitted
  • Tighten fixings and unions evenly to the workshop manual figures for your engine, then check function and leak-check with the system under pressure
