20450811 Thrust Washer | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta thrust washer weighing 0.128 kg and listed for 26 fitments across the D, TD, TAD and MD series. It gives the shaft a replaceable face to push against, so end float is taken on a serviceable part rather than on the housing itself.

🚤 Compatibility

• Engine Family: D, TD, TAD, MD

Full model list at the end of this description.

⚙️ Key Features

• Thrust washer
• 0.128 kg
• Listed for 26 fitments across the D, TD, TAD and MD series

🔌 Function

Controls axial movement of the shaft and provides a replaceable sacrificial thrust face.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Excess end float felt as fore and aft movement at the shaft
• A knock or thump on load change or gear engagement
• The washer found scored, grooved or worn through its bearing face
• Bright or blued patches showing the washer has been turning in its seat
• Bearing material found in the drained oil or on the sump magnet

🛠️ Service Notes

• Measure end float after fitting rather than assuming a new washer restores it - the shaft and the housing face wear too, and a new washer alone may not bring the figure back inside specification
• Inspect the mating thrust face for scoring while the assembly is apart

📦 Condition

• Genuine Volvo Penta part
• Brand new
• Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
