• Fuel staining and dirt collecting at the unions
• Line found chafed, kinked or cracked at a bend on strip-down

• A weeping fuel line in an engine space is a fire risk - replace it rather than repeatedly nipping up the union
• Renew the union sealing washers and bleed the system after fitting
