This genuine Volvo Penta cover is an OEM service component used in the Engine Oil-Cooler Cover. It is manufactured to the original Volvo Penta dimensional, material and interface requirements for the documented Volvo Penta 13-litre TAD13 industrial diesel application. Technical identification: Oil-cooler cover in the engine lubrication system. 🔌 Function

Closes the engine oil cooler housing, holding the cooler element in its chamber and sealing the oil side of the joint.

  • Cover face found distorted or corroded on removal
  • Bolt holes pulled where the cover has been over-tightened

  • Check the cover face for flatness, as a bowed cover will not seal on a new gasket
  • Pressure-test the oil cooler element while it is out
