⚙️ Key Features

  • 5.0 m long
  • For the EDC IV electrical system
  • TD520GE and TAD520GE up to serial number 0935273
  • TD720GE, TAD720GE, TAD721GE and TAD722GE up to serial number 0935273
  • 2.359 kg

🔌 Function

Carries electrical power and control signals between the engine components it links.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Warning lamps or gauges dropping out intermittently with engine vibration
  • Fault codes that clear when a connector is moved by hand
  • Insulation chafed through where the loom crosses a bracket or a hot pipe
  • Green or powdery corrosion inside the connector shells
  • Engine stopping or refusing to crank with nothing wrong at the component itself

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Check the connector pins and the earth points before replacing the loom - harness faults commonly sit at the terminations rather than in the middle of a run
  • Confirm the electrical system and the engine serial number before ordering, since this harness covers EDC IV installations up to 0935273 on the designations listed
