A genuine Volvo Penta brace used in the engine cooling-package support assembly. It is supplied as an individual service component under part number 20585546 and is intended to restore the original fit, sealing, alignment, retention or operating function of the specified assembly. This listing supplies the named component only; adjoining parts are serviced separately.

🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

  • Volvo Penta TAD721GE
  • Volvo Penta TAD722GE
  • Volvo Penta TAD732GE EDC4
  • Volvo Penta TAD733GE EDC4
  • Engine Family: TAD

⚙️ Key Features

🔌 Function

Supports the cooling package or associated engine component.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Cooling package moving, knocking or drumming on its mounts
  • Cracks radiating from the brace's bolt holes or weld seams
  • Mounting holes elongated or fretted bright
  • Vibration isolators collapsed where the brace carries them

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Brace 20585513 carries the same name, the same four applications and a published weight of 2.468 kg against 2.500 kg here - nothing published separates the two, so order by part number
  • Check the isolators and fasteners at the same time, since a cracked brace usually follows a failed mount
