• Replacement is required during separator overhaul when the insert is worn

🛠️ Service Notes

• Work clean — anything fitted into the fuel side goes in with the seat and the surrounding area free of dirt, and openings kept capped while they are apart
• Fit new sealing rings, washers or gaskets wherever the original used them, lightly lubricated so they seat without rolling
• Check the bore or seat the insert fits into for corrosion, scoring or distortion before fitting; an insert seals only as well as the surface it beds on
• Tighten to the figures and in the order given in the workshop manual for your engine — an insert is easily distorted by overtightening
• Bleed the fuel system afterwards and check for leaks with the engine running before the boat is used
